Kolkata, Sep 30 (UNI) India were under pressure in first hours losing three quick wickets, including of captain Virat Kohli, scoring 57/3 at lunch on first day of the second Test against New Zealand at Eden Gardens here today. Skipper Virat Kohli won the toss for India and elected to bat hoping to capitalise the green Eden pitch but the openers Shikhar Dhawan ( 1) and Murli Vijay (9) were quick to return in the dug house when the hosts were tottering 28/2. Both of them were the victims of right-arm medium fast bowler Matt Henry. Whilst Dhawan was bowled, Murli Vijay was caught by wicket keeper BJ Watling. Virat Kohli (9) continued to his poor form as left-arm fast medium pacer Trent Boult got him as Tom Latham safely held at the gully. The not out batsmen Cheteshwar Pujara ( 31) and Ajinkya Rahane (2) held the pitch stubbornly to carry on batting after lunch. UNI PC-BM JW ADG PM1215
