Top seed Vishnu bows out; Rawat and Balaji win tough matches

Chandigarh, May 4 (UNI) Winner of the Chandigarh ITF Futures last week and top seed Vishnu Vardhan of India made his exit by retirement in the second set against unseeded David Agung Susanto of Indonesia in the singles pre-quarter-final match of the
10,000 ITF Men's Futures Tennis Tournament being played at Harvest Tennis Academy in Jassowal (Ludhiana) on Wednesday.
In the 90-minute tough competition, Susanto just managed to beat 450th ranked Vishnu by 7-6 (12) in tie-breaker of the first set. In the second set, Susanto took a 2-0 lead before Vishnu retired.
