Too early to say how Ukraine talks going to proceed - Trump

Washington, Feb 14 (UNI) US President Donald Trump has said that it is too early to say how the Ukraine peace negotiations will proceed.
"As far as the negotiation, it's too early to say what's going to happen. Maybe Russia will give up a lot, maybe they won't, and it's all dependent on what is going to happen. The negotiation really hasn't started," Trump said on Friday at a joint press conference with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He also said that Ukraine's bid to join NATO was one of the things that caused the start of the conflict.
"I actually think that that was the thing that caused the start of the war. [Ex-US President Joe] Biden said it, [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelenskyy said it, and I think that was one of the starters of the war," Trump added.
