Tomorrow’s cops shall have to be tech-savvy: MP CM

Bhopal, Feb 19 (UNI) Law-enforcement authorities of the future will be equipped with technology instead of weapons, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath averred on Wednesday while emphasising that the force shall have to familiarise itself with the latest techs and learn to adopt the same.
“My dispensation will extend all possible support to personnel in this direction. I hope that in future the Madhya Pradesh Police shall become so skilful vis-a-vis utilising emerging applied science that it would be an ideal for other states. Economic growth also brings with it monetary transgressions. Those in khaki need to recognise the nature and tendency of such offences. Harmony among limbs of governance is imperative for quality results,” he was officially quoted as saying while addressing the Indian Police Service Officers’ Conclave 2020 at the imposing Minto Hall here.
