Hyderabad, Jun 16 (UNI) Telangana Transport Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy on Sunday took part in a two-km walk, organised by KIMS Hospital, Secunderabad here, to spread awareness about road safety, in order to curb traffic and bring down a number of accidents in the state.
The Minister stressed on the need to make the state roadways safer for the masses.
'As our roads get increasingly busier, road safety for both motorists as well as pedestrians is becoming a prime concern. It is important to realise that as citizens and road users, everyone of us can and must contribute in our own way, to realising the goal of making our city's roads safer."
