Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jun 22 2016 8:48PM TN Guv flags off Thiruvalluvar statue's journey to HaridwarChennai, Jun 22 (UNI) A 4.5 tonne 12-feet high statue of reverred Saint poet Thiruvalluvar, to be installed on the banks of river Ganga in Haridwar, was flagged off here today. Christened 'Thiruvalluvar Ganga Payanam' (Thiruvalluvar's journey to Ganga) and led by BJP Uttarkhand MP Tarun Vijay, who is also the President of Students and Youth for Thiruvalluvar, the statue was flagged off by Tamil Nadu Governor K Rosaiah.
