TN forest officials seize the electronic chip of the loco engine which killed three elephants

Palakkad, Nov 27 (UNI) The forest officials from Tamil Nadu on Saturday seized the electronic chip of the loco engine which killed three elephants after the train hits them while the elephants were crossing the railway track at Walayar last night.
The electronic chip was seized to determine the speed of the train during the incident.
Cases under the wild life protection act will lodged against the loco pilot and assistant loco pilot if the train crossed the speed limit of 45 KMPH, forest officials said.
