TITA holds unique place for Techies, IT professionals : Ranjan

Hyderabad, Oct 2 (UNI) Principal Secretary of Industries and Commerce & Information Technology departments Jayesh Ranjan praised Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) by saying that it holds a unique place for techies and IT professionals.
Earlier, Jayesh Ranjan, who is also the Chairman of the TITA Advisory Council, administered the oath of office to Sundeep Kumar Makthala, who was elected as the TITA Global President, at the T-Hub here on Saturday, a release said on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion Jayesh Ranjan said TITA worked for the betterment of the common people by associating with the government with its various initiatives.
It played a key role in AI-based tech initiatives of the government as part of Telangana’s year of AI, the Principal Secretary said.
Ranjan said that the state government along with TITA will take up more such work in various sectors to ensure the fruits of welfare reach common people.

TITA elected Sundeep Kumar Makthala as its Global President for the term 2023-26. All sections of the IT sector and social opinion supported the candidature of Sundeep in the presidential election.
TITA Returning Officer Ashwin Chandra Vallabhoju in a statement said that seven departments of the Association filed nominations and supported the candidature of Sundeep. Apart from this, social opinion, a first-of-its kind exercise, also favoured Sundeep for the post.
Speaking on the occasion, Sundeep Makthala said that he would continue to strive for the welfare of techies and IT professionals in Telangana.
Members and office bearers of various departments of TITA congratulated Sundeep on the occasion.
