Tirupati emerges as the most suitable choice for AP capital: Advocates Chinta Mohan

Hyderabad, Feb 20 (UNI) Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader, Chinta Mohan, has put forward the suggestion that Tirupati should be considered the most suitable city for the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to the media on Tuesday in Hyderabad, Mohan highlighted several factors that make Tirupati an ideal choice, including the ample availability of government land, an international airport, national highway connectivity, several universities, seven national highways, and religious significance.
Mohan also criticised recent proposals by some leaders of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) to retain Hyderabad as a joint capital for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for an additional two years.
