TIMS hospitals envisioned to deliver healthcare on par with AIIMS: KTR

Hyderabad, May 15 (UNI) Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K T Rama Rao on Friday said the Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) hospitals were conceived to provide world-class medical care to the people of Hyderabad on par with All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
Speaking to the media after inspecting the Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences facility at Sanathnagar, KTR said that while government hospitals such as Gandhi Hospital and Osmania General Hospital had long served as the primary healthcare support for the public, the BRS government introduced state-of-the-art TIMS hospitals to provide advanced treatment facilities comparable to corporate hospitals.
He stated that the Sanathnagar TIMS facility was constructed across 22 acres using advanced technology and international standards at an estimated cost of Rs 1,200 crore. According to him, TIMS hospitals were established in Sanathnagar, LB Nagar and Alwal to offer quality healthcare to poor and middle-class families.
