Tiger reserve in Goa; HC issues notice to Goa govt., NTCA

Panaji, Aug 6 (UNI) A division bench of Bombay High Court in Goa on Thursday issued notice to the Goa Government and the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) on a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) seeking declaration of a tiger reserve in the state.
The bench directed the respondents to file their respective affidavits before August 24.
In the PIL, Goa Foundation, a Goa-based NGO, has prayed for directions to the state Goa to notify a tiger reserve in the state.
