Tiger found dead at Pench Ntl Park in MP

Seoni, MP, Jul 17 (UNI) The carcass of a four-year-old tiger was found lying near a nullah inside the Pench National Park. The Forest Department employees rushed to the spot and took the carcass under their control.
“The carnivore, which was found dead yesterday, was cremated today after conducting post-mortem. The carcass of a spotted deer was also found 200 meter away from the place, where the tiger died. It seems, two tigers fought with each other to get the prey and in the process, one had broken its ribs and finally succumbed,” Park Deputy Director KK Gurwani said here today.
Significantly, the tiger, which was one of the four cubs that were born in the park, was seen with his mother in December last year, sources added.
