Tide's total headcount in India to be over 400 by end of 2021

Hyderabad, Mar 3 (UNI) Tide, the UK’s leading digital business financial platform on Wednesday announced that it plans to hire another 180 engineering and product development talent and over 100 staff for roles such as customer support at its Global Development Center (GDC) in Hyderabad by the end of 2021.

With this, the total headcount at its GDC here will be over 350 by the year end.

Tide’s India headcount is due to grow by 300 skilled professionals in 2021 to take the total headcount in India to over 400 by end 2021.

Tide also announced plans to hire another 50 people in areas such as marketing and support in India for its corporate office in Gurugram as it seeks to replicate its success in the UK market, in India, a company release here said.

In his comments, Guy Duncan, Chief Technology Officer, Tide, said, “As we look to scale globally, we have a growing need for the best technical talent, which is fortunately readily available in India.

The Hyderabad center is key to our ambitious global expansion plans - fueling the constant innovation that is required for Tide to stay ahead in its mission to deliver higher value to its SME members globally,” he added.
