Rains damage standing kharif crops in Marathwada

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jul 24 (UNI) Incessant rains lashing Marathwada for the past three days have damaged standing Kharif crops in Hingoli, Nanded and Parbhani districts.
Reports reaching from Hingoli stated that heavy rains lashed Aundha Nagnath taluka of district, while three villages have been cut off due to water overflowing from the bridge on Rameshwar to Daudgaon road. The rains have caused severe damage to crops and flooded thousands of hectares of crops. Most of the crops, including soybean and turmeric, in the area have been eroded by the floods.
