Thunderstorm with lightning likely to occur in Telangana, AP: Met

Hyderabad, Jul 9 (UNI) Thunderstorm with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.
In a bulletin here, it said that heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours and on July 11 and 12.
Further, it also said that heavy rainfall is likely to occur in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh on July 12 and 13.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at many places or at a few places or at isolated places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days.
Southwest Monsoon has been vigorous in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Rayalaseema and normal in Telangana during the last 24 hours.
Very heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in Prakasam, Guntur, West Godavari and Krishna districts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Chittoor district of Rayalaseema during the same period.
Heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in East Godavari district of Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Kurnool and Kadapa district of Rayalaseema and Bhadradri-Kothagudam & Jayashankar-Bhupalpally, districts of Telangana during the last 24 hours.
Rainfall occurred at most places in Rayalaseema, many places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Telangana during the same period, the bulletin added.
