Thunderstorm likely in Kerala, Lakshadweep during May 15-19

Thiruvananthapuram, May 15 (UNI) Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty wind speed reaching 30 to 40 kmph is likely at one or two places over Kerala and Lakshadweep during May 15 to 19.
Heavy rainfall (7. 11 cm in 24 hours) is very likely to occur at one or two places in Kerala from May 15 to 19.
Squally weather with wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph is likely over Maldives area and southeast Arabian sea. Fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas, a local MeT statement said here on Friday.
