Pune, May 16 (UNI) Day temperatures were above normal in some parts of Odisha,Jharkhand,Bihar,east Madhya Pradesh, madhya Maharashtra,Marathwada,Vidarbha,coastal Andhra Pradesh and in the remaining parts of Rayalaseema,Telangana and interior Karnataka.
Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Telangana,Rayalaseema,Tamil Nadu, Karnataka,Kerala
Day temperatures below normal in some parts of Gujarat State and in remaining parts of west Uttar Pradesh and east Rajasthan.
Day temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Assam,Meghalaya,west Uttar Pradesh,Haryana,Chandigarh and Delhi,Punjab,east Rajasthan
Day temperatures were normal over rest of the country.The highest maximum temperature recorded over the plains was 46.4 degrees celsius in Bramhapuri of Vidarbha in Maharashtra.
