Three youths electrocuted in Kaushambi, die

Kaushambi (UP), Mar 3 (UNI) Three youths, including two brothers, were electrocuted during a marriage function in Kokhraj area of Kaushambi district here in Uttar Pradesh, a police officer said here on Sunday.
Circle Officer (CO) Awadhesh Vishwakarma said that the incident took place in Usrapur village where the marriage function was being held late on Saturday night. "Due to heavy rain a DJ worker Satish installed a canopy on the equipment of the sound system which came into contact with a high-tension electricity line," he said.
He said that due to this current started flowing into the sound system in which Satish was electrocuted. "Ravi (20) and his brother (18), who attempted to rescue Satish, were also electrocuted in the incident. The injured were taken to the hospital where doctors declared them dead," he said.
