Three youths drowned in river Godavari

Eluru, Feb 2 (UNI) Three youths drowned in the river Godavari at Sridhar Veleru village in Burgampadu mandal on Saturday when they entered the river to swim.
Police said that a group of employees of ITC company went to the village located near to the the river Godavari to celebrate the birth day of Vijay Kumar Reddy.
After the celebrations, six of them ventured into the river for a swim. As the water flow in the river was heavy, three of them drowned and washed away. They were identified as Kunduru Srinivas Reddy (23), Tirumala Reddy Shiva Reddy (24) and Karampudi Durga Seshu (25).
