Three siblings drown in lake at Nanded

Nanded, Sep 17 (UNI) Three school-going children drowned in a lake
in Kandhar tehsil of the district on Monday.
The children entered the waters of the lake, belonging to Sant
Namdev Maharaj Trust, for a swim this afternoon while on their way
home after meeting their grandfather Ganpat Gaikwad in a
agricultural field at Umraj in Kandhar tehsil.
However, as they did not know swimming, they drowned, police said.
They were identified as Roshani Gaikwad (11), Rohan Gaikwad (9) and
Devanand Gaikwad (11).
