Three of family killed as car plunges into canal in South TN

Kanyakumari, Dec 8 (UNI) Three members of a family were killed, when the car they were travelling plunged into a roadside canal at Kulasekaram here on Sunday.
Police said the deceased were identified as H Anish (30), his wife A Manju (27) and their 18-month-old son A Amarnath. The accident occurred, when the occupants of the ill-fated car were returning home after purchasing home needs at Kulasekaram.
Anish, who was driving the car lost control while negotiating a bend in which the vehicle plunged into the Left Canal of River Kothaiyaru. They were trapped inside the car and subsequently drowned.
