Three of a family dies in mobile phone blast

Karur, Aug 10 (UNI) Three members of a family were
charred to death after a mobile phone exploded causing
fire inside their house at Rayanur in this district of Tamil
Nadu on Monday.
Police source said the incident came to light this
morning after smoke emanated from the house.
Police recovered a charred mobile phone and suspect
that the fire could have been used after the phone
exploded.
The victims are identified as Muthulakshmi, who has
separated from her husband, and her twin sons,
Deekshit and Rakshit, aged three.
While Muthulakshmi died on the spot, the two tinytots
were rushed to a hospital, where they were declared
dead.
Since Muthulakshmi was said to be facing huge debts,
police are also investigating whether it was a suicide
pact of an explosion caused by the mobile phone.
