Three more COVID positive cases found in Arunachal

Itanagar, Dec 9 (UNI) Three more persons in Arunachal Pradesh have tested positive for Coronavirus infection during the last 24 hours, pushing the Himalayan state’s tally of confirmed cases to 55,298, a senior health official said.
Of the fresh cases, one each was detected in Itanagar Capital Complex, East Siang and Tawang. Of the total cases, one turned out to be asymptomatic and two symptomatic, he said.
On the contrary, five patients were cured of the disease in the period that dipped the state’s active caseload to 29. So far, 54,989 people have recovered from the COVID-19 infection, the official said, adding that the state’s recovery rate stands at 99.44 per cent.
