One more COVID-19 death, 71 new cases in Meghalaya

Shillong, Nov 28 (UNI) The death of one more COVID-19 positive patient in the East Khasi Hills district raised the fatality figure due to the ongoing pandemic to 111 and 71 fresh cases took active caseload to 858, while 129 new recoveries scaled up the number of recoveries from the viral infection in the State to 10735 in Meghalaya on Saturday.

Jharkhand: Encounter between security personnel and PLFI in Chaibasa, arms and ammunition recovered
