Krishnanagar, Aug 19 (UNI) Three members of a family were killed and as many were injured when a van in which they were travelling rammed a motorcycle and then turned turtle falling on the occupants in West Bengal's Nadia district, police said today.
Among the killed in the mishap mother Rupali Biswas, her preteen son Arpan Biswas and Alpana Biswas.
Police investigating the mishap said the small van carrying the trio to Hanskhali first hit a motorcyclist and then turned turtle throwing the three occupants and the vehicle fell on them, while the mother and her son died on the spot, their relative Alpana Biswas succumbed to her wounds in the district hospital early today.
