Three killed as heavy rains lash Nashik

Nashik, Oct 22 (UNI) Three persons have been killed as heavy rains lashed this district on Wednesday, throwing normal life out of gear and inundating several low-lying areas, reports said on Thursday.
The trio victims have been identified as Bhimrao Jagtap (60), and women Smita (38) and Manisha Darade. All of them were residents in the Niphad taluka.
The deceased Bhimrao and Smita were killed as lightning struck them when they were working in fields and Manisha suffered a heavy electric shock while starting a pump.
