Three killed as car rams container truck in AP

Kadapa Dec 6 (UNI) Three people, including a 11-month-old infant, were killed and four persons were injured when the car in which they were travelling, rammed a container truck at Raghvarajupuram village in Railway Koduru mandal in the wee hours on Friday.
Police said that seven members of a family, belongs to Sangareddy district in Telangana State, were going to hill shrine Tirumala to fulfill a vow. The car rammed a container truck and later it rammed a road side tree, killing car driver Bala Raju (26), P Prashant (26) and S Sujata (45) instantaneously. T Navaneeta, S Priyanka, Ramadevi and Anantaiah were injured in the mishap.
The police had a tough time to extricate the bodies and the injured from the ill-fated car. Railway Koduru CI Avula Ananda Rao, SIP Venkateswarulu and other police personal rushed to the accident place and shifted the injured to government hospital in Railway Koduru. Later they were shifted to Ruia hospital in Tirupati. The bodies were shifted to the government hospital in Rajampet for postmortem.
