Three Hijras arrested for robbing a youth of gold chain in AP

Kakinada, Sep 24 (UNI) The Amalapuram town police arrested three Hijras who waylaid a youth and after keeping him in good humor for some time , snatched a gold chain from him and fled away on a motorcycle, police said.
It is stated that the young man from a village in Ambajipet mandal was stopped by the Hijras at Savaram bye pass road on the outskirts of Amalapuram town around 2130hrs on September 21 and took Rs.500 by phone pay on demand keeping him in good humour .
Later they fled away on a motorcycle snatching the gold chain from him .The young man lodged a complaint to police the next day .
