Three held, 38 Red Sander logs seized in AP

Chittoor, August 14 (UNI) Task Force teams conducted raids in different locations in this district on Friday, and seized 38 Red sander logs and arrested three smugglers.
According to Task Force DSP Venkataiah, three different teams started combing on Thursday night based on the reliable tip off about logs smuggling.
One team which proceeded towards Srivari Mettu area spotted a group of men carrying logs and when the armed men tried to nab them the smugglers fled into forest leaving the logs behind them.
