Three get lifer for murder of three during highway dacoity

Thane, Jan 23 (UNI) The district court on Thursday convicted three persons in a case of highway dacoity in which three persons were brutally killed and their bodies dumped by roadside way back in 2011.
The District Judge HM Patwardhan who handed in the life imprisonment to the accused also fined them Rs. 10,000 each and after recovery a sum of Rs. 5,000 to be paid to the family of the victims the judge ordered after holding the accused guilty of the offenses punishable under sections 302 and 397 of the IPC.
The accused convicted and sentenced were Anis Nabi JKhan, 35 Ajitkumar Girijashankar Mishra 62 and Sakur Abdul Rehaman Kha,42.
