Three former CMs, PCC chief condole demise of Ahmed Patel

Srinagar, Nov 25 (UNI) Three former Chief Ministers (CMs) Dr Farooq Abdullah, his son Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti besides Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief G A Mir expressed heartfelt condolence on the demise of senior Congress leader Ahmed Patel.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter Omar said, “My father & I are deeply saddened to hear about the demise of Ahmed Patel Sb. Our relationship with Ahmed bhai is both political & personal and has been a long one. May Allah grant him a place in Jannat & may the family find strength at this difficult time."
In another tweet, the vice president of the National Conference (NC) said, “Please accept our heartfelt condolences @mfaisalpatel and to the family, especially Esra who lost her beloved grandfather. May Allah grant all of you strength & sabar at this difficult time."
