Three fishermen die, one missing, 18 rescued as boats capsize in Gujarat

Veraval (Gujarat), Dec 16 (UNI) As many as three fishermen died, one went missing and 18 were rescued when four boats capsized at two different places in the Arabian sea off Saurashtra coast in Gujarat on Monday.
According to Police, in the first incident, three boats with over 15 fishermen of Rajapara of Gir Somnath district on were on board when their boat capsized, in the wee hours, at around 25 nautical miles away from Rajapara port.
Four fishermen went missing whereas others were rescued.
The bodies of three fishermen were later recovered, while the search for the fourth one was still going on, police said.
In another incident, in the Arabian off Harshad village coast in Kalyanpur Taluka of Devbhoomi Dwarka district, another boat capsized.
There were six fishermen on the boat Sukhsagar from Mangrol and all of them were rescued, police added.
