Three-day Renewable Energy India Expo 2017 from Sept 20 in Greater Noida

Mumbai, Aug 22 (UNI) The 11th edition of Asia’s leading Renewable Energy (REI) Expo 2017, hosted by UBM India, India’s leading exhibitions organiser, will take place from September 20 to 22 at the India Expo Center in Greater Noida. A flagship event, REI is the most reputed global platform where India’s green economy community including overseas participants will congregate to discuss industry trends, challenges and market insights including the Indian regulatory framework. Over 750 exhibitors and 1,500 delegates from 45 participating countries will take part in the 3-day expo. It is likely to attract over 30,000 trade visitors. REI expo will see active participation from countries such as Japan, Germany, France, Poland, USA, Korea, China and Taiwan amongst a host of other countries. It is supported by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA), NEDO Japan, Indo German Energy Forum (IGEF), Bloomberg New Energy Finance and Mercom Capital, among others. The expo, certified by UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibitions and Industry, will see the presence of key dignitaries such as Anand Kumar, secretary to Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India; Amitabh Kant, chief executive of Niti Ayog, Government of India; Upendra Tripathy, Interim director deneral, International Solar Alliance (ISA); Justin Wu, head of APAC, Bloomberg New Energy Finance, Singapore; Hans-Josef Fell, president of the Energy Watch Group (EWG) & former Member of German Parliament; Naoki Tomotake, director-general of International Affairs, NEDO, Japan; René Van Berkel, UNIDO representative in India and Dr Arunabha Ghosh, CEO, Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW) during the high profile opening ceremony on September 20. Among the exhibitors are companies like Adani Solar, Tata Power Solar, Azure Power, Sky Power, Canadian Solar, Huawei, Trina Solar, Jinko Solar, Siemens Gamesa, Vikram Solar, Waaree Energies, Mitsubishi, Delta Electronics, Panasonic, SMA, ABB, Kyocera, Sterling & Wilson, Mahindra Sustain, Applied Materials, POSCO, Fronious. amongst others.
