Three civilians killed, several injured in south Kashmir blast

Srinagar, Oct 21 (UNI) Three civilians were killed and several others injured when an explosive device went off near Laroo, Kulgam, encounter site where three militants were killed on Sunday, official sources said.
The militants were killed in an encounter which ensued during a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO).
They said immediately after all the three militants holed up in a house at Laroo, Kulgam, were killed, a large number of people gathered near the encounter site.
Sources said there was a huge explosion near the encounter area, leaving a large number of civilians injured. Later, the injured were rushed to hospital where three of them succumbed on way.
A number of injured have been referred to Srinagar, they said, adding that the exact cause of blast was being ascertained.
Details are awaited, they added.
