Three armed Lashkar terrorists arrested in Rajouri

Jammu, Sep 19 (UNI) In a major achievement, Jammu and Kashmir Police and other security agencies on Saturday arrested three heavily armed terrorists of Lashkar e Toiba outfit in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.
"Three heavily armed terrorists have been arrested by the police teams on Saturday morning in Rajouri district," Mukesh Singh, Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone here told UNI.
Mr Singh said that they belonged to Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit, adding, "they were coming from Kashmir."
The investigation is under process, said the top cop.
Meanwhile, police sources said that all the arrested terrorists are from south Kashmir’s Shopian and Pulwama districts and were arrested from Gurdan village of Rajouri district.
Sources while confirming the arrest said that two Ak 56 Rifles, six Ak magazines with 180 rounds, two Chinese Pistol, three pistol magazines with 30 rounds, four grenades, two pouches and Rs One lakh cash, was recovered from the arrested terrorists identified as Rahil Bashir, Amir Jaan alias Hamza, both from Pulwama and Hafiz Yunus Wani of Shopian.
A case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated, they added.
Director General of Police, Dilbag Singh, who was in Srinagar, have rushed to Rajouri to access the situation and will also brief the media.
