Jaipur, May 24 (UNI) Three accused in the NRHM scam have been sent to police custody here. The Anti corruption Bureau has produced the three arrested accountant Deepa Gupta, store keeper George Varghese and middleman Ajit Soni in the ACB court and the court has sent them to police custody till May 27. The court has extended the police custody of George Varghese and Ajit Soni and Deepa Gupta was in judicial custody. Meanwhile Deepa Gupta has filed an application for bail in the ACB court but hearing on the bail plea could not be taken up today. All the three were arrested by the ACB on May 18 in Rs 1.5 crore scam in awarding tenders under the NRHM projects.
