Threat of action looms large on BSP leaders after Lko police include case under Posco Act against them

Lucknow, Aug 1(UNI) After arrest of expelled BJP leader Dayashanker Singh, now Lucknow police has focused its attention on the charges against the Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) leaders with threat of their arrest looms large after sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act of 2012 was added in the FIR lodged against BSP supremo Mayawati and other senior leaders, including party's national general secretary Naseemuddin Siddiqui.
The FIR was registered on charges of alleged lewd remarks targeting expelled BJP leader Dayashankar Singh's family members, particularly her minor daughter, during a protest in the city on July 21.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Lucknow, Ms Manzil Saini said here today that she was investigating the matter and the CD of the entire BSP protest is being checked for further action.
