Thousands of devotees take holy dip at Tirumakudali Narasipura Kumbha Mela

Mysuru, Feb 19 (UNI) Thousands of devotees took holy dip at Triumakudali Narasipura, in T Narasipura on the 11th Maha Kumbha Mela, the South Indian version of the Kumbha Mela on Tuesday.
The South Kumbha Mela, meant to provide an opportunity to the devoutees to participate in rituals during the given auspicious time as not every one could make it to the Maha Kumbha in Allahabad was held in the divine presence of Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathi Deshikendra Swamy, seer of Adichunchanagiri Mutt Sri Nirmalanandanath Swamiji and Sri Shivanandapuri Swamiji of Kaginela Kanakaguru Peeta.
Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy who participated in the Kumbha Mela, however., did not took holy dip, but sparkling spiraling the Kapila water on his head and inaugurated the Dharma Sabhe.
