Those opposing demonetisation are anti-national: Ramdev

New Delhi, Nov 21 (UNI) Yoga guru Baba Ramdev today hit out at the political parties for targeting the Centre over its demonetisation policy, saying that those opposing any decision aimed at social welfare are anti-national and asked them not to politicise the issue. Addressing a press conference here, he said, "Don't politicise the demonetisation policy of the Narendra Modi government, which is taken in greater interest of the country. Political parties, who are opposing the social welfare measure for the public, are anti-national." He said the Prime Minister had given two chances to those, who were hoarding black money to bring it in the mainstream by depositing and paying the penalty, but despite that, they didn't. "So, Modiji decided to change notes," Baba Ramdev added. "The most important thing about demonetisation is that it will help in stopping funding to terrorists and naxalite groups," he claimed. The Yoga guru has also urged the Centre to conduct an inquiry against those, who helped black money holders to deposit crores of money in banks within two, three-days of the announcement of demonetisation.
