Thiruvananthapuram-Silchar weekly express rescheduled

Thiruvananthapuram, Jun 18 (UNI) Southern Railway has rescheduled the running time of Thiruvananthapuram – Silchar weekly superfast express (via Coimbatore, Chennai Central) on Jun 19, 2018.
The official press release said that the Thiruvananthapuram-Silchar weekly superfast express scheduled to leave the Thiruvananthapuram at 1655 hrs on Jun 18, was been cancelled due to the cancellation of pairing of train as the extensive Rail Track Works were going on . This resulted in daily late running of trains in various divisions of Southern Railway and approx ninety two trains have been re-timed with effect from June 13 they further added.
The measure is purely temporary and will end till the urgent and pivotal safety works are not completed in Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad, Salem and Chennai divisions.
