Thirteen Chinese tourists killed, 30 injured as bus skids off road in Laos: Reports

Moscow, Aug 23 (UNI) At least 13 Chinese tourists were killed and 30 others injured as a tour bus fell into a ravine in Laos, media reported on Friday.
A bus with approximately 40 Chinese tourists aboard was headed from Vientiane to Luang Prabang, an ancient Laotian capital city located high in the mountains, when it veered off the road and fell from a 100-foot cliff, Sputnik reported.
Thirteen people were killed on the spot, more than 30 others were saved and several more are still missing, the Thai Amarin TV broadcaster specified.
According to preliminary reports, the cause of accident could be brake failure.
