Bengaluru, Sep 22 (UNI) Riding on superb inning by skipper Quinton de Kock, 79 off 52 South Africa beat India by nine wickets in the last and final match to level the three-match (T20I) series 1-1 here at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday.
Leading from the front, the South African skipper batted beautifully and also finished his 1000 runs as a wicket-keeper in T20Is.
Reeza Hendricks 28 off 26 and Temba Bavuma 27 off 23 too played crucial knocks and helped South Africa level the series.
Earlier, the first T20I of the three-match series was washed out in Dharamshala, while India won the second game by seven wickets in Mohali.
