Third Inter-Khalsa School sports tournament kicks off

Amritsar, Dec 5 (UNI) The 3rd Inter-Khalsa School sports tournament today started to a colourful start at Khalsa College Senior Secondary School here. The students from the five schools under the Khalsa College Governing Council will be competing in the various disciplines of the sports including football, handball, kho-kho, races and other individual events. The tourney was flagged off by KCGC honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina who took the salute from the contingents of the sports team.
He said the aim of the tourney is to inculcate the spirit of competition, discipline and team work amongst the students and they will participating in the two day long event to test their prowess in various sports events.
