New Delhi, Aug 13 (UNI) Former team India all-rounder Irfan Pathan says Pakistan were not prepared for the bowl-out during the opening 2007 ICC World T20 group D match between the two teams which went into tie.
India went on to win the bowl-out and defeated Pakistan in the finals to lift the trophy.
Speaking on a special watch-along of the 2007 ICC World T20 between India and Pakistan, on Star Sports, Pathan said, “Pakistan’s captain accepted it in one of the press conference that they didn’t know about the bowl-out. When the time for bowl-out arrived, they were not sure if they should be taking full run-ups or a half run-ups.
On the other hand, we came in prepared for the bow-lout and the result was quite evident. There was no competition between the two teams,” Pathan opined.
