There is sense of joy & mystery to Rumi: Tanya on ‘Tooth Pari’

There is sense of joy & mystery to Rumi: Tanya on ‘Tooth Pari’

New Delhi, Mar 28 (UNI) ‘Tooth Pari: When Love Bites’ takes viewers on a fun, thrilling journey into the world where vampires exist along with the humans- only, one doesn’t know the other is walking amongst them.

Set in the mysteriously beautiful Kolkata - the city of joy, this romantic fantasy thriller promises a ‘love bite’ you will never forget! It all started when Rumi the vampire broke one of her 'fangs' during a hunt. Roy, the fainthearted, boy-next-door 'human' dentist treats her as a patient and well, sparks fly!

One can't miss this love story, however impossible it may seem. Tanya Maniktala as the rebellious vampire Rumi and Shantanu Maheshwari as Doc Roy are all set to make your hearts flutter.

Talking about her character, Tanya aka Rumi shares, “There is a sense of joy and mystery to Rumi. I see courage in Rumi and I find it so beautiful. There’s a charisma to her that I find so endearing and that is her, that is her aura, everybody is automatically drawn towards her and she does nothing. She's just as cool as one can be but you can't help falling in love with her (smiles).”

What about Rumi and Roy’s love story, you ask? Their chemistry is palpable, and the challenges they face add a layer of depth to the series' plot. And that’s not all. Roy and Rumi's story is nothing like the fairytale romances we’ve seen so far. Why? Because normal is boring.

Speaking of the love story, Tanya further added, “As Tanya when I read Roy and Rumi's scenes, Rumi came across as someone who is fiesty, like she has to get her way and Roy is someone who is timid in comparison to Rumi. He would be the person who would require the least amount of attention in a room as opposed to Rumi who draws eyes on her without even trying. So both of them trying to build a relationship knowing all the challenges, is very endearing. And that's the thing about love right, you don't really get to decide or choose the person you fall in love with or when you fall in love with.”

“Tooth Pari: When Love Bites" is a rollercoaster ride that offers everything you could ask for in a series. It caters to a diverse range of genres, from action to romance and mystery, and the story presents a gripping and soulful experience, enough to keep audiences captivated throughout.

It will stream from April 20, on Netflix.
