Manyda, Nov 25 (UNI) The mortal remains of film actor turned politician M H Ambareesh, who passed away at a private hospital in Bengaluru, will be airlifted to his home District Mandya to enable people to pay their last respect to the departed soul.
Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy held talks with Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharam and sought a military helicopter to airlift the body to Mandya and the Centre has agreed to provide military helicopter to left the body of former Union and State Minister Ambareesh from Bengaluru.
The death of Mr Ambareesh has come as a shock to the people of Mandya district, where he was affectionately called “Mandyada Gandu” for many decades.
