The ceremonial event of Technology Demonstration vessel for DRDO commences

Kochi, Jan 27 (UNI) The ceremonial event of commencement of Mega Block Assembly of hull blocks of Ship No 20, the Technology Demonstration Vessel, being built for the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) of Government of India was held here at the Cochin Shipyard limited (CSL) today.
This was a major milestone in the construction of the ship, a CSL release said here.
Department of Defence R And D secretary and DRDO Chairman Dr S Christopher, who was the Chief Guest of the function, while addressing the gathering appreciated the CSL for successfully undertaking construction of such a complex ship.
