Tension prevailed at JERA meet

Puducherry, Jan 22 (UNI) Tension prevailed at the meeting, held by the Joint Electricity Regulatory Authority (JERA) for Goa and the Union territories here on Tuesday, to fix power tariff rate for 2019-20 and 2021-22 as volunteers of several organizations created trouble.

The meeting began under JERA Chairman Goel and Puducherry Electricity Department Superintending Engineer Ravi who informed the gathering that there is no proposal to enhance the power tariff for any category during 2019-20.
