Tension in Haryana after IPS Puran Kumar’s suicide; government on alert, Rahul Gandhi demands arrest of accused officers

Chandigarh, Oct 14 (UNI) In a development related to the suicide by senior IPS officer Puran Kumar, ASI Sandeep Kumar, posted in Rohtak’s cyber cell, also died by suicide leaving behind a four-page note and a video.
In his message he alleged that IPS Puran Kumar had taken his own life out of fear of defamation in a corruption case. The family of ASI Sandeep Kumar has refused to allow a post-mortem. His body was taken to his maternal uncle’s house in Ladhaut village.
Meanwhile, Haryana remains on alert following the suicide of Puran Kumar, as protests and political reactions continue across the state.
