Ten-days long Ganesh festival conclude with dull note

Mumbai, Sep 19 (UNI) The Ten-day long Ganesh Festival today Conclude with the immersion of lord Ganesh Idols in different parts of commercial capital of the country amid tight security arrangements for owing to terror threat and corona pandemic.
Big mandals in the city has started performing pooja as usual at 0800 hrs before proceeding for the immersion of Lord Ganesh Idol in the sea. But, due to tight security arrangement and Government laid down some rules and regulation for the celebration of festival due to corona Pandemic.
The government had prohibited took out procession and Only 10 people were allowed to go
with Idol for immersion.
Similarly, authority have also asked people that do not go to sea beach with small children
and senior citizen as precautionary measures. This time Authority has put barrackets at chowpatti
(sea beach) to keep away devotees to venture in the sea. Where life guard have been deployed
who will make Immersion of Idol in the sea.
To avoid crowed at the chowpatti, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation have mad 173 artificial pots for immersion of idol across the city.
